PETER E. SEEBACHER
After completing his fashion design studies in Germany and a scholarship for F.I.T. New York Seebacher graduated from the Royal College of Art London. He has worked in prêt-à-porter and haute couture for numerous renowned fashion houses such as Vivienne Westwood – London, Thimister – Paris and Genny – Milano. Within the creative team of Alber Elbaz he was designer for Yves Saint Laurent – Paris.
In 2000 he co-founded vonRot creative studio and gallery in Berlin developing concepts and designs for various companies including Moschino, DKNY/DonnaKaran, Sportmax/MaxMara, etc., and generating free creative projects, exhibitions, performances with a wide array of partners like ChicksOnSpeed, Keupr/vanBentm, Bless, Karl Lagefeld, Visionaire Magazine, Rinko Kawauchi and many more. At the same time under ”vR-HC“ free design projects, fashion-, product- and accessories-editions were executed.
Next to holding a professorship for fashion design in Hamburg Seebacher continually works as a creative consultant in development, presentation and artdirection.
With his creative work under an individual label he established SEEBACHER contemporary couture. SEEBACHER-cc and the design studio are based in Berlin.

Nach abgeschlossenem Modedesignstudium in Deutschland und einem Stipendium am F.I.T. New York graduierte Seebacher am Royal College of Art London. Er arbeitete als Designer in Prêt-à-Porter und Haute Couture für mehrere renommierte Modehäuser, u.A. Vivienne Westwood – London, Thimister – Paris und Genny – Milano. Im Kreativ-Team von Alber Elbaz war er Designer bei Yves saint Laurent – Paris.
vonRot, 2000 als Creative Studio und Galerie von ihm in Berlin mitgegründet, entwickelte Konzepte und Designs für diverse Firmen wie Moschino, DKNY/DonnaKaran, Sportmax/MaxMara, etc., und realisierte freie Projekte, Ausstellungen und Präsentationen mit vielfältigen Kooperationspartnern wie ChicksOnSpeed, Keupr/vanBentm, Bless, Karl Lagerfeld, Visionaire Magazine, Rinko Kawauchi und vielen mehr. Unter ”vR-HC” wurden außerdem freie Designprojekte, Mode-, Produkt- und Accessoire-Editionen realisiert.
Neben einer Professur für Modedesign arbeitet Seebacher weiterhin als Creative Consultant in Entwicklung, Präsentation und Artdirection.
Mit seinem Design unter eigenem Label entstand SEEBACHER contemporary couture. SEEBACHER-cc und das Atelier sind in Berlin.
